The Auray WSW-007MKII Custom Windbuster is a slip-on fuzzy windscreen made for shotgun microphones used in outdoor video, interviews, field recording, film production, and location audio. It fits microphones measuring up to 0.866 inch / 22 mm in diameter and 7 inches / 17.8 cm in length.

The dual-layer construction combines a gray faux-fur outer layer with an acoustic-cloth inner lining. These layers work together to diffuse moving air, reduce unwanted broadband wind noise, and control vocal plosives while limiting high-frequency loss and avoiding excessive sound muffling.

Effective Wind-Noise Control: Provides approximately 30 to 40 dB of wind-noise reduction, with maximum attenuation reaching 40 dB.
Designed for Outdoor Recording: Performs best in light to moderate breezes ranging from approximately 4 to 17 mph.
Slip-On Installation: Slides over an existing foam microphone windscreen measuring up to 5 cm thick for convenient setup without removing the original foam protection.
