The Impact 40-inch C-Stand is designed as a versatile lighting and grip support for professional photography, video, film, studio, and production environments. Its aluminum, iron, and steel construction provides the strength required for frequent set use while supporting equipment loads up to 22 lb.

The stand offers a maximum working height of 10 feet and a minimum working height of 53.4 inches. Its removable turtle base incorporates a 1-1/8-inch junior receiver, allowing the main riser to be detached for transport or replaced with compatible risers and adapters for low-angle equipment positioning.

A spring-loaded leg-lock collar simplifies deployment and breakdown by allowing the legs to open quickly without repeated twisting or adjustment. The 35-inch footprint and round, standard-size legs are designed for stable support and convenient nesting with other C-stands on crowded sets, grip trucks, racks, and carts.

The top of the stand features a knurled 5/8-inch baby pin that improves grip when supporting compatible lighting equipment. Large ergonomic T-handles provide additional leverage when tightening and securing mounted equipment.
