The Ruggard 850L Electronic Dry Cabinet provides a large, controlled storage environment for cameras, lenses, photographic equipment, optical equipment, mobile electronics, and other items that can be affected by excess moisture, dirt, and dust.

An electronically controlled dehumidifying system uses a fast-acting cooling wafer to regulate relative humidity from 35% to 60%. Humidity adjustments typically take place over a 1- to 3-hour period, helping reduce conditions that can contribute to fungus and corrosion on sensitive equipment.

Independent upper and lower humidity zones allow equipment with different storage requirements to be kept in the same cabinet. Each zone has its own touchscreen LCD control panel and power switch for independent operation.

The touchscreen interface provides access to humidity presets and specific relative-humidity settings as well as interior lighting controls. Display brightness and color can be customized, temperature readings can be shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and menus can be displayed in English, Chinese, or Japanese. The cabinet monitors temperature but does not control internal temperature.

Four three-digit PIN combination locks help restrict unauthorized access to stored equipment. Solid glass doors and rubber seals help keep dust and dirt away from cabinet contents, while the 180-degree door opening provides wide access to stored gear.

Four adjustable steel shelves support flexible equipment organization, and fitted foam shelf liners provide a cushioned surface for cameras, lenses, optics, and electronics. Interior LED lighting makes stored equipment easier to view before opening the cabinet.

The dehumidifying system operates without a noisy fan or compressor and does not require a water collection tray. A multi-voltage power system supports 110 to 240 volts AC at 50/60 Hz while consuming less than 30 watts.

Glass-and-steel construction provides a durable enclosure for professional equipment storage. Four 2-inch casters offer 360-degree movement, and each caster can be locked to help keep the cabinet securely positioned after placement.
